If it is still intact with its skin, you can store fresh turmeric in your fridge for anywhere up to two weeks. However, it is best to make sure it is as dry as possible, so if the rhizomes are wet or damp, dry them with a sheet of paper kitchen towel and put them into a plastic ziplock bag.
